Taoiseach sets down stone at Adamstown

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern set in place a commemorative stone today to mark the commencement of construction at Adamstown, Ireland’s first strategic development zone (SDZ).

When complete, in excess of €2bn will have been invested by the developers of Adamstown to deliver a new town built around a dedicated railway station and transport interchange on the Dublin/Kildare rail line in south west Dublin.
