Labour Court begins An Post dispute hearing

The Labour Court is due to begin a hearing today into An Post's plan to lay off 1,400 workers as part of a cost-cutting programme.

The dispute was referred to the court late last year when the Communications Workers Union voted to reject the restructuring plan, which also included a reduction in overtime.
