Patients have been quarantined and visitors turned away from the Adelaide Meath and National Children’s Hospital in Tallaght in an attempt to stem an outbreak of the winter vomiting virus.

Patients have been quarantined and visitors turned away from the Adelaide Meath and National Children’s Hospital in Tallaght in an attempt to stem an outbreak of the winter vomiting virus.

The hospital has quarantined 180 patients who have come into contact with the bug and has cancelled elective surgery.
