Dublin: Man sets himself alight, dies

A man in his mid-30s has died after setting himself alight in Lucan, Co Dublin, last night.

The man poured petrol over his clothes in the garden of a house in Beech Grove and then set himself alight at around 7pm.

He was rushed to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown, where he died a short time later.

He is not believed to have lived at the address where the incident happened.
