Adams calls for Ahern to explain robbery allegation

Sinn Féin leader Gerry Adams today repeated his calls for an explanation fromTaoiseach Bertie Ahern on why he believes the party had prior knowledge of the Northern Bank robbery.

Speaking ahead of today’s crucial meeting in Dublin Mr Adams said: “We’re asking him for an explanation for those remarks.
