Two BSE cases have been detected in Irish cattle in the past week, according to figures published today by the Department of Agriculture.

Two BSE cases have been detected in Irish cattle in the past week, according to figures published today by the Department of Agriculture.

The department said the disease was detected in cattle aged 6 and 11 years in Leitrim and Cork.
