McAleese to attend Auschwitz commemoration in Poland

President Mary McAleese is reportedly planning to attend a ceremony at Auschwitz in Poland later this month to mark the 60th anniversary of the liberation of the infamous Nazi concentration camp.

Reports this morning said Mrs McAleese would join other global dignitaries and heads of state for the ceremony on January 27.
