Hume 'believes Taoiseach's comments on IRA involvement'
Former SDLP leader John Hume has said he believes the Taoiseach's agreement that the Provisional IRA was behind last month's £26.5m (€37.8m) bank heist in Belfast.
Mr Hume said Bertie Ahern had worked hard for the peace process and would not have pointed the finger at the IRA without clear information after Northern Ireland Chief Constable Hugh Orde said he believed the Provisionals were behind the raid.
