TD lashes stealth charge 'rip-off'

Ireland is one of the most expensive countries in the world for essential services such as transport, healthcare and energy costs, a Labour TD claimed today.

Responding to New Year price rises in essential services, Labour Party consumer affairs spokeswoman Kathleen Lynch asked: “Is there no end to the limitless number of stealth charges levied on the public ? Consumers are continually left with the empty feeling of being ripped-off.”
