Man in court on cocaine charge

A 43-year-old man appeared in court today charged with possession of cocaine worth £250,000 (€354,500).

Donald Marno, from Avondale Manor in Craigavon, Co Armagh, appeared at a special sitting of the town’s magistrates’ court charged with possession with intent to supply the Class A drug.

He was remanded in custody.

Another person arrested during a search operation was released without charge.
