A pedestrian was killed when he was struck by a car at Kilcrickle, Loughrea Co Galway at 5.30pm last night.

A pedestrian was killed when he was struck by a car at Kilcrickle, Loughrea Co Galway at 5.30pm last night.

The man in his late 30s or early 40s was pronounced dead at the scene.
