Rehab to review practices after Irishman’s Paris ordeal
The Rehab Care organisation has vowed to carry out a review of its practices following the five-day disappearance of a Brendan Brady in Paris over the weekend.
The disabled Irishman got separated from his group during a trip to Eurodisney with Rehab last Wednesday.
He was found by French police on the Champs-Elysees yesterday evening. His mother, Eileen, said he had been living on bread and water and had slept on park benches during his five-day ordeal.
Rehab spokesman Chris Macey, meanwhile, said the organisation would review the matter to establish how Mr Brady went missing under its care.
"We've very strict policies and procedures on all of these trips and we're confident that everything that happened met the letter of the law," he said.
"But obviously there's going to be a very serious review of what happened, just to make sure that all our processes are in order."
