Gardaí in Monaghan are investigating an assault on a Belfast man in the county last night.

Gardaí in Monaghan are investigating an assault on a Belfast man in the county last night.

The 40-year-old victim was found on the road at Raconnell at 10.30pm and has been taken to Cavan General Hospital for treatment.
