The Irish Naval Service has detained a British-registered vessel off the south-west coast for alleged breaches of fishing regulations.

The Bergur was intercepted by the LE Niamh around 70 miles south-west of Valentia this morning and is being escorted to Castletownbere for inspection by Department of the Marine officials.
