Heroin worth €500,000 seized in Dublin

Gardaí in Dublin have seized heroin with an estimated street value of €500,000 in the Dun Laoghaire area of south Co Dublin.

The drugs were found during a search of an open area in the Rochestown Avenue area on Tuesday, but gardaí only announced the seizure today for operational reasons.
