Axing of P&O routes may cause job losses in Rosslare

The P&O ferry company has announced plans to axe its service between Rosslare and Cherbourg, leading to fears of job losses in the Co Wexford town.

Iarnród Eireann has said that dock workers could lose their jobs as a result of the decision, which is part of a cost-cutting plan by P&O on its entire route network.
