Dana still determined on election fight

The decision by Eamon Ryan to pull out of the Presidential race means that Dana Rosemary Scallon is now the only high profile candidate still intent on challenging President Mary McAleese.

A spokesperson for the former MEP said that Scallon is hoping to secure the backing of at least three county councils on Monday next.
