Two motorcyclists killed in separate road accidents

Two motorcyclists in their 20s were killed in separate road accidents in Co Meath yesterday.

The first accident happened at around 5pm in the Kilskyre area of Kells, when a 25-year-old motorcyclist lost control of his bike and crashed. He died a short time later in hospital.

Meanwhile, a 21-year-old motorcyclist died when his bike collided with a car on Main St in Dunboyne at around 7.45pm.

A second man who was also travelling on the motorbike was injured in the crash.

Gardaí are withholding the names of both dead men until all next of kin are informed.
