Galway man to cycle Ireland for charity

A Co Galway man is planning to cycle 800 miles throughout Ireland later this month in aid of the Galway Association for Mentally Handicapped Children.

A Co Galway man is planning to cycle 800 miles throughout Ireland later this month in aid of the Galway Association for Mentally Handicapped Children.

Michael Goode, from Portumna, is planning to embark on the trek next Monday.

He said he planned to cycle through all 26 counties in Ireland before arriving back in Portumna on Saturday, July 31.
