The Government has announced a 10% increase in funding for marriage and child counselling services in Dublin this year.

The Government has announced a 10% increase in funding for marriage and child counselling services in Dublin this year.

Social and Family Affairs Minister Mary Coughlan said more than €3m would be distributed among 195 voluntary and community counselling groups in the city this year.

Barnardos and Rainbows Ireland are among the groups to benefit.
