PSNI arrest two in Armagh murder probe
Detectives were today questioning a man and a woman about the abduction and murder of a father of two.
The pair were arrested by officers investigating the killing of Paul Crymble in Northern Ireland.
Mr Crymble, aged 35, was attacked by four masked men who confronted him and his wife when they returned to their home in Richhill, Co Armagh, early on Sunday.
The couple were tied up as the gang, one armed with a gun, demanded money.
Mr Crymble was then bundled into the family car, a green Seat Ibiza, and driven from his Ballybreagh Road bungalow.
His body was later spotted by a member of the public inside the vehicle parked at a lay-by two miles away.
Police have said there was nothing to suggest a paramilitary or sectarian link to the killing.
The murder baffled detectives, who were told how the victim was a quiet, hard-working husband and father of a girl aged 12 and an eight-year-old boy.
Mr Crymble and his family only moved to Armagh from Carrickfergus, Co Antrim, just over a year ago.
A Police Service of Northern Ireland spokesman confirmed: “Detectives investigating the death of Paul Crymble have arrested one male and one female on suspicion of murder.”
