ESB to invest €190m in Limerick upgrades

The ESB has announced plans to invest €190m in Co Limerick as part of its €3.5bn nationwide upgrading plan.

Two new substations at Castletroy and on the Dock Road are due to be constructed as part of the Limerick investment, while existing substations will also be upgraded.

Almost 3,500kms of new overhead lines will also be erected in the county.
