Pharmaceutical firm to lay off 76 workers in Co Wicklow

A pharmaceutical firm in Co Wicklow, has announced plans to lay off 76 workers due to a drop in production.

Schering Plough said it was hoping to secure the lay-offs voluntarily, but would implement a compulsory redundancy programme if necessary.
