The Licensed Vintners Association has disputed the Office of Tobacco Control’s claims that the workplace smoking ban had led to increased business for the hospitality trade.

The OTC claimed non-smokers were visiting pubs and restaurants more frequently following the ban, while smokers were also continuing to visit such premises at the same rate as before.
