Man pulled from Lough Ree on River Shannon

The body of a man in his fifties has been recovered from Lough Ree on the River Shannon, after unconfirmed reports of a boating accident.

Sub-aqua divers from Athlone found the body last night off Yellow Island after a daylong search.
