Six freed in murder probe

Six men questioned about the murder of a pensioner in Northern Ireland were freed without charge today.

Five were released on police bail and a sixth unconditionally.

They were arrested by detectives probing the murder of Ted O’Hare, 72, who was found dead by his three brothers at their farmhouse at Loughbrickland, between Newry and Banbridge, Co Down, last November.

Five masked men had broken in and the three brothers were also robbed after they returned home from Mass.
