Antrim firearms seizure: Man charged

A 37-year-old man has been charged with possession of firearms and ammunition in suspicious circumstances.

It follows a planned search of a house in Ballymena yesterday in which a quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered.

The man is due to appear before Coleraine Magistrates Court tomorrow.

A woman who was also arrested has been released without charge.
