Woman killed as car overturns

A 25-year-old woman has died after the car she was travelling in went out of control and overturned in Cork last night.

The accident happened at Rigsdale in Ballinhassig at around 8.40pm.

The dead woman, who was from Co Cork, was killed instantly.

Gardaí are withholding her name until all next of kin are informed.

The male driver was also slightly injured in the crash.
