Youths raid security van
Gardaí have begun an investigation into an armed robbery at an ATM machine in Dublin today.
A gang of four youths, all aged in their mid-to-late teens, carried out the raid as a security van was making a delivery to the bank machine shortly before 1pm.
The ATM is located inside a shop on the Carpenterstown Road in Blanchardstown.
The four made their getaway in two separate cars, a blue Volkswagen Passat and a blue Toyota Corrolla.
No shots were fired during the incident but a substantial amount of money was taken.
