Gardaí at Blanchardstown are appealing for witnesses after a serious road accident left a 13-year-old boy in a critical condition in hospital.

A Tesco executive who defrauded the company of more than €100,000 to cover the cost of his holidays has been given a four year sentence with the final two-and-a-half years suspended.
