Gardaí make €5m drug seizure in Tipperary

Gardaí have seized amphetamines and cocaine with an estimated street value of €5m in Co Tipperary.

It is understood the seizure was made following a search of a farmhouse between Cloughjordan and Monegall last night.

The drugs are being taken to Garda headquarters for technical examination.

A man has been arrested and is being held at Thurles Garda Station.
