France is continental Europe's biggest consumer of Irish food and drink, according to the Minister for Agriculture and Food, Joe Walsh, who is in Paris today.

France is continental Europe's biggest consumer of Irish food and drink, according to the Minister for Agriculture and Food, Joe Walsh, who is in Paris today.

The minister is assuring French consumers that food safety is our highest priority.

Ireland exports €500m worth of food and drink to France every year and it is set to take 25% more Irish beef this year.
