The Hilton Foods Group has scaled back its job creation plans in Drogheda, Co Louth.
The company announced plans to set up in the IDA industrial estate in the town last year.
It had originally planned to hire 220 workers over three years, but this figure has now been scaled back to 175.
Hilton Foods said that the Drogheda factory would be used to process meat products for Tesco stores throughout Ireland.
