Kenny seeks independent body to oversee patient care

Fine Gael has called on the Government to establish an independent body to take responsibility for patient care in Irish hospitals.

The call follows the death of a nine-year-old girl two weeks after she underwent an appendix operation at Cavan General Hospital.
