Murphy promises to publish Cory Report
Northern Secretary Paul Murphy has promised to publish the Cory Report into four controversial murders in the North as soon as possible.
Mr Murphy told the House of Commons in London today that the British Government would publish the report as soon as legal advice and national security allowed.
Retired Canadian judge Peter Cory was appointed to investigate allegations of security force collusion in six murders carried out by loyalist and republican paramilitaries.
The Irish Government has already published the report into alleged Garda-IRA collusion in two of the murders.
It emerged earlier this week that Mr Cory had telephoned the families of the victims of the four other murders to say that he had recommended public inquiries into each of the killings.
