Disabilities campaigners demand rights legislation

Disabilities campaigners are to hand in a petition at Leinster House today demanding legislation giving disabled people a legal right to access services.

The Government is currently resisting pressure to introduce legislation that would entitle the disabled to sue the State if they were denied necessary services.
