Gerry Adams seeks meeting with DUP
Sinn Féin president Gerry Adams is seeking a meeting with the DUP following their strong performance in the Northern Elections.
As the counting of votes continues the DUP currently has 28 seats, the UUP has 25, Sinn Féin has 24, and the SDLP has 18.
Meanwhile the Ulster Unionist leader, David Trimble, has defended his record and said he has no intentions of standing down.
