The Irish Farmers Association has called on the Government to introduce tax incentives and other supports to help farmers cope with reform of the EU’s Common Agriculture Policy.

The IFA said the Government should support "capacity building" on farms and introduce tax incentives for medium and long-term land leasing to help farmers improve competitiveness.
