Gardaí hunt hoax baby caller

Gardaí in Dublin have launched a criminal investigation after a call claiming a newborn baby was abandoned in a flat this week was deemed a hoax.

The caller contacted a helpline on Monday morning to say she had left the baby in a derelict flat in Ballymun.
