An Anglo-Irish summit on efforts to advance the Northern Ireland peace process are to go ahead in Downing Street tomorrow.

The exchanges will involve Tony Blair and Bertie Ahern, as well as Ulster Secretary Paul Murphy, Foreign Minister Brian Cowen and Justice Minister Michael McDowell, and could lead to a date being fixed for elections to a new Northern Ireland Assembly.
