Man abducted from Down home

Police in the North are investigating the abduction of a man in Co Down overnight.

Brendan Rice was held down and beaten at his Burrendale Park Road home in Newcastle, before being bound and taken away in a white Isuzu van.

Police in Downpatrick are searching for the three masked men and appealing for anyone with information to contact them immediately.
