Householders evacuated amid fears of further landslides

Officials in Co Mayo have advised around 40 householders in the area affected by last week’s landslide to evacuate their homes due to the risk of further landslides.

Conditions around Dooncartin mountain deteriorated further last night, with heavy rains raising fears of another slippage.
