Man dies in Co Louth crash

A man has died after the car he was driving veered off a road in Co Louth this morning and crashed.

The accident happened at around 6am in Collonbeg. Gardaí are withholding the dead man’s name until all next of kin are informed.

Meanwhile, a woman also died last night when the car she was travelling in crashed on the main Belfast road in Newry, Co Down.

Two others were also injured in the accident, which happened shortly after 11pm in the Millview Terrace area.
