Building site safety campaign to be launched today

The construction industry and the Health and Safety Authority are due to launch a three-year campaign today aimed at reducing the incidence of death and injury on Irish building sites.

Thirteen people have died on construction sites in Ireland so far this year and an average of around 20 every year for the past five years.
