Protesters disrupt pro-choice conference

A pro-choice press conference to mark the 20th anniversary of laws outlawing abortion was disrupted by pro-life campaigners.

Ten people associated with Youth Defence interrupted the conference.

The Alliance for Choice says it displays a lack or respect, and intolerance to those with whom they disagree.

Spokesperson Ivana Baccik today said it would not stop the campaign for the legalisation of abortion.
