Store sizes 'keeping prices high'

The Consumer's Association has said Irish shoppers are being deprived of the lower prices generated by giant retail stores in the rest of Europe.

Limits to the size of shop space here are currently under review after being brought in to protect smaller retailers from out-of-town supercentres.
