The North's Employment Tribunal has ruled that a British soldier who tried to commit suicide was bullied and subjected to sectarian abuse from his colleagues simply because he was Catholic.

The North's Employment Tribunal has ruled that a British soldier who tried to commit suicide was bullied and subjected to sectarian abuse from his colleagues simply because he was Catholic.

33-year-old Patrick Murphy told the tribunal that the bullying began when his colleagues in the British army's Royal Irish Regiment discovered his religion.
