Anti-capitalists claim credit for WEF cancellation

Anti-Capitalists have claimed they are the reason the World Economic Forum is not meeting in Dublin.

Globalise Resistance, an anti-capitalist network claimed the World Economic Forum has been driven out of Dublin by mounting pressure.

Anti-capitalists had planned to stage blockades and a march against the organisation.

"It is unprecedented for a conference of this magnitude to be pulled at such short notice. The excuse the WEF are using that their Global Competitiveness Report was not ready is nonsense," claimed Joe Carolan of Global Resistance..
