Orange Order considers talks offer to Garvaghy residents
The Orange Order in Portadown, Co Armagh is reportedly considering proposals to offer direct talks with residents of the nationalist Garvaghy Road in return for permission to hold a loyalist march through their area this year.
Under the proposals, this year's Drumcree parade would be allowed down the Garvaghy Road and Orangemen would subsequently enter talks with the local residents, seeking their consent for any future marches.
