Down Syndrome group slams ministers
The president of Down Syndrome Ireland launched a scathing attack on Irish politicians who try to associate themselves with the upcoming Special Olympics.
Alan Crosbie said Government ministers have arranged constant photo opportunities with disabled athletes to improve their own image at a time of major cutbacks in services for people with disabilities.
